Blonde, Feathers, && Tan

I often forget the fact I live in Florida and should be really tan. Well, let's not say "should be" because you shouldn't be anything you don't want to be, but I WANT to be. I love having a nice tan, it makes me look 100 times better and gives me more confidence because the sun does so much for looks; including - clearing skin, acne, makes pores less noticeable, gives it a natural looking glow, makes eyes appear brighter, etc. I used to tan so much in High School but I lived in a condo with access to a pool back then. Now, I have a back yard to lay a lawn chair in. That's not fun! And y'all outside of Florida are probably thinking "you live 10 minutes from the beach, go there". When you've lived on the beach your entire life, it seems like a chore to drive somewhere to get a tan! LOL but I'm going to stop thinking like that once Summer gets here, because I realize if I didn't live near a beach, I would be lost. I love the beach <3

 

As of right now, I'm really loving the really tan and really blonde look lately.. Like Kendra..

I guess I'm just lovin' the beach blonde look in general! 

So remember how a year ago these were the big thing? Feather hair extensions, oh my god I thought they were the ugliest thing ever. But now, I like them. I always like the styles when the whole era is over with.. I think it's because mentally I hate the idea of me following a trend but when it passes I have time to say "hey it's actually a cute idea". So now I like feather hair extensions. I like feathers in general all of a sudden. Feather tattoos, feather necklaces, feather earrings. I got a feather belly ring for Christmas and in my head was like "...what is this" but now I like it and think feathers aren't so awful after all!

I totally learned how to do a new hair style! This is sort of a big deal for me because I can't do ANYTHING with my hair besides putting it in a messy bun or leaving it down! Woo, now I have a variety of things I can do.

You can totally see up my nose o.O

I wore that hair style and this make up to work yesterday! My lips look humungous when I make this face. I wish I had naturally bigger lips. Full lips look so nice on girls. Take Megan Fox for example (known for her lips. . and transformers. . .  blue eyes . . . ehh. . . lips!) - shes absolutely gorgeous.

so speaking of ways to totally enhance someones face.. Okay okay we weren't speaking about that BUT if you let one thought lead to another like I did then we were thinking about it! So let's rephrase that. THINKING of ways to totally enhance someones face, after work today I went over to Tiffany's nail salon to FINALLY (after three months) get my eyebrows done. Well as I was sitting there waiting for the lady to get done with her other eyebrow patients, there was a sign! The sign said all this stuff about eye lash extensions! My senior year of HS that's what I wanted more then anything but they didn't offer them at nail salons way back then.. two years ago! Not where I live anyway! I really sorta kinda REALLY want eye lash extensions now.  Mine are just so.. non-existing! I swear there's eye lashes there but I want full, I want long, I want beautiful lashes!

There's tons of colors to chose from. Thousands to be exact! From clear to black. Pinks, Blues, Greens, White, Golds, even Metallics!


Nail polish is one of the most used accessories. Guys even wear it. Pretty boys. They go for clear. I guess the journey through time hasn't made it socially acceptable for men to wear colorful polish yet.


Have you ever thought of that? How as time goes on, things that were once not socially appropriate are slowly becoming just "normal"


I once had a conversation with someone about how today guys are wearing skinny jeans and soon it will be shorter shorts or during the winter they'll be wearing boots with their skinny jeans tucked into them. Something that seems strange now will be normal in a few years. 10 years ago nobody would have thought men would be walking around with hip and leg huggers on, now did we?


Back to nail polish, I hope men don't end up wearing colorful polish. I don't like that idea, I don't like the skinny jean idea either.

Sparkley Ruby Red, Coral, Bright Orange with or with out glitter! I'm not promoting these brands or anything, I just found these colors on Google images. They look like they work wonderful though :-) What are your favorite nail polish colors??
