Better Routines

So lately I have felt so sleep deprived! I've been going to bed around 6 a.m. and waking up around 12 p.m. I do NOT recommend this sleeping pattern. I want to slowly get into a better routine starting tomorrow since I'm going out tonight and that will consist of drinks on the beach ;)

Nothing beats a night on the beach with a cocktail or 10! I'm excited, aren't you??

I rearranged my bedroom yesterday. After moving my queen sized bed and dresser every possible way, I ended up just turning my bed long ways from it's original arrangement. Thank God my helper was patient with me! I like my room better this way. Before it was all open and spacey. Now it has more of a comfy vibe.

I really don't know why I just told you about my bedroom. Back on topic...

Aside from not wanting to be sleep deprived anymore, I also want to set an eating/gym schedule.

My gym membership was "supposed" to expire in September, but "I guess" the contract says somewhere in fine print that if I don't tell them I want it to expire, then it won't? Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either! So instead of paying 60 dollars to cancel it, I'll just pay the 20 a month forever & ever. I also decided I should start using the membership again. Tomorrow.

I think I'm going to try and make my sleep/health routine look something like this until I start working again...

7 a.m. - wake up

7:30 a.m. - Gym
9 a.m. - small breakfast
12:30 p.m. - Lunch
5:30 p.m. - Dinner
11 p.m. - Sleep

But who knows how successful that will be.

Do you have a daily routine? If so, what does yours look like??

I am the same way with my rearranging my room.. I always put my bed every which way it could go. but then I usually just put it back where it was.. But Im glad you love it!

I love making routines but I'm terrible at sticking with them long term. :(

I have a pretty standard routine. Work pretty much dictates it though. I <3 rearranging furniture. Unfortunately there isn't a way to change our bedroom because of the placement of doors and windows.
Love your blog! New follower as well!

Every time I make an attempt to follow a routine I break it! My goals always involve trying to get up early and work out, but my alarm clock typically doesn't win :) I just love to sleep too much!

I need to have a routine otherwise I cannot function! I get up and go to sleep at the same time every day. Love your blog, now following. Would love it if you could check out mine too. Naomi xxx

Your body and mind will love you if you get on a better sleeping schedule. I have kids so most of my schedule revolves around them and my work. I'm up by 6am, to work by 8:30, off by 5:30, kids bedtime by 8, mine by 11...and repeat. Adults and children need routine. Good luck to you!!

New follower as well.

Drinks? On the beach? That sounds awesome!
I'm awful with routines. I set my alarm to get up at 7 every morning. It never fails that my dog will wake me up at 6 and then I'll reset the alarm for 8. If I could make myself go to sleep earlier I might be able to get up on time!
Good luck with your new schedule!

I love having a routine, it makes it so much easier to stick and be accountable for thing.
My summer routine was up at 5 to run until 6, then shower & get ready for work. Get home around 5, then make dinner at 6, and in bed by 9.30, asleep by 10. I swear I am an old lady at heart!
I'm still adjusting to a fall schedule since I am not running in the morning anymore.

Hahaha. Your hilarious. "I really don't know why I just told you about my bedroom." Hahaha. Good luck with your new schedule! The hardest part is starting them! Well, really the hardest part is sticking to it for more than 2 days! (at least for me!) I always do great Monday and Tuesday, and then its down hill from there! Ya, to new schedules! I'm going to start one, too!

Hello! I realize this is kind of off-topic however I needed to ask. Does operating a well-established website like yours require a massive amount work? I am completely new to blogging but I do write in my diary every day. I'd like to start a blog so I will be able to share my experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!

Good luck with your schedule, I think if you can stick with it for at least a week or two, then it will just become a habit, hopefully! I find that I go to the gym more since I'm paying for it, because otherwise I feel guilty if I'm paying for it and not going! Thanks for stopping by my blog too, I really appreciate it!
