Recipes

Lately I've been trying to learn how to cook, which never interested me in my eighteen years of living - until recently. I always said I would live off of canned and boxed food. I don't know what it is but I get a joy out of making something and finding out people actually like it. So I'm working on becoming quite the chef boy r dee (if thats even how it's spelled. LOL) I'm going to list 5 simple recipes I've made over the last few days!

1. A chicken salad sandwich

Ingredients
Sliced chicken
Mayonnaise
Any choice of bread
Salt
Peper
Relish
Lettuce
Tomato

Step 1: Mix the sliced chicken with a resonable amout of salt, peper, mayonnaise, relish (and any other spices you choose to use) until it all blends well
Step 2: Toast the bred however you like it to be toasted (I only like mine toasted a little bit)

Step 3: Put the chicken salad on you're bread add a slice of lettuce and a slice of tomato and stick it with a tooth pick to hold it together and you got yourself a chicken salad sandwich!

2. Egg salad sandwich

Ingredients
6 eggs
Bread
Salt
peper
mustard
mayonnaise
Bacon (optional)
Lettuce
Tomato

Step 1- Boil eggs on a medium high a little after you start to see bubbles usually about 15 minutes!

Step 2- Take eggs out to cool off, once their cool, peal the shell off the eggs and put the eggs into a bowel

Step 3- squish and stir eggs until they are blended nicely and add a resonable amount of mayo, mustard, salt and peper. Mix well.

Step 4- Toast your bread the way you like it, and add the eggs salad to your bread along with a slice of tomato and lettuce! (and cooked bacon)
Bon appetit!

3. Curry

Ingredients
Sliced pre-made chicken (10 oz serves 4)
Cooked rice
1/3 curry powder
1/3 green onion, diced
1 small red apple, diced
Salt
Peper
1 tsp of butter
Crushed peppers
1/3 almonds
Mushrooms
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 soup can full of water

Step one- On medium-hot; Boil your cream of chicken, water, chicken, butter, curry sauce and onions, while stiring well for five minutes

Step two- Add the remaining ingredients, stiring well for 10 more minutes

Step three- Add your curry over your rice, and enjoy

4. Double chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
You're choice of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
White chocolate chips
Dark chocolate
1tsp vanilla extract

Step 1: Preheat oven for 350

Step 2: Using a rather large bowl place the cookie dough in it and tease it with your hands until its all soft and easy to work with

Step 3: Add the vanilla extract, a fair amount of dark and white chocolate chips (usually about a cup of each)
and mix well with your hands (oh, don't forget to wash your hands really well)

Step 4: On a cookie sheet place table spoon amounts of cookie dough and spread them out so they don't all end up touching each other, place in oven and cook for at least 15 minutes or until finished

5. Strawberry shortcake

Ingredients
10 strawberries
shortcake shells
Whipped cream
1tsp sugar

Step 1- Wash strawberries and place them into a bowl, slice them and mash them well with a spoon or potato masher!

Step 2- add a tspoon of sugar and mix well, and let strawberries refrigerate for an hour

Step 3- Put a good amount of strawberries into the shells and add whipped cream to the top! Add a strawberry on top of that to make it look pretty and eat up!

See that was easy enough, but with that I really do feel accomplished! Lol. I'm going to continue cooking and one day I really will be like this dude... vvvvv

Needless to say my spelling wasn't correct! But his real name is Ettore Boiardi! I wouldn't have known how to spell that either! Well have fun making your food and desserts, I'll keep you updated on my cooking journeys! Ciao bella!
